It's sort of funny that IM's first two opponents are two programs that were Class B until recently. Heck Oscoda played (former) rival Kingsford in the playoffs in 2000.

Shows you how much enrollment has been dropping all over the State. The UP is not unique to it.

The Jack Pine was always a conference you hoped to play in the playoffs.... generally weak for Class B. Now Class C though... so I would expect a tough game out of Roscommon. The early win over Clare is impressive. Clare is a solid D5 program.

Part of Roscommon's enrollment drop is due to Charlton Heston Academy (which is located within the Roscommon school district) taking kids away. If not for CHA, Roscommon might possibly still be Class B
