IM at Calumet

Postby AlgerBruh » Wed Oct 02, 2019 11:06 am

Wondering if anyone has any input on how this matchup will go. Looks like both teams have taken care of business in games against the teams that gave the other the most trouble.

Calumet 14
at Westwood 8

Westwood 22
at IM 42

and

Negaunee 14
at IM 17

Calumet 30
at Negaunee 6

Therefore, if your making a prediction based solely on common opponents its hard to tell who should be favored. Regardless, it should be a good one that will likely decide the conference race barring a something unforeseen. Anyone have a pick or some insight?

Two good programs. Calumet's physicality took it to IM last year.

This year IM has Bucky Johnson assisting on the varsity and the offense has been light years better for IM. Also Marcus Johnson is back for IM. He did not play against Westwood or Negaunee while recovering from an offseason injury.

I like IM here, but certainly would not be shocked if Calumet won at home. Low scoring game favors the Copper Kings. High scoring game favors the Mountaineers.

Didn't know Johnson was assisting, sure the basketball championship is still stinging. I'd give a slight edge to IM but I think it will be close. Just looked at Mapetology, it's a long shot but Iron Mountain could possibly play Pewamo-Westphalia in the semi final game in D7!!!! What YOOPER wouldn't want to see that!!!!!!
