U.P. Football Players at the Collegiate Level 2016

There are over 60 U.P. football players on college rosters this season! Will be working on posting them on this thread. Due to past complaints, I will no longer post the players by height and weight on one master list.

Instead I will post them alphabetically by size.

I got that from Ashwaubenon Jaguars D-Line Coach Jim Allen from Escanaba. First official day of practice when the positions break out into groups he'd be yelling "Now hurry up line up left to right by size in alphabetical order!" And the players would be chaoctically confused, trading places moving around trying to figure it out.

Will get it started. If anyone knows of others out there would love to add them to the list. Wish all these young men the best!

That Finlandia roster is interesting. Gabe Swanson played for Kingsford his junior year and quit football after that. Looks like he missed it....

Hopefully got them all. If there is anyone else out there please let me know. Like community college players, anyone out of state, etc.

I figured with Finlandia getting on board there will be less in D3 down here in WI. In Wisconsin I have seen some down here not play their senior year (one quit/one injured) then went on to do well in College D3.

On defense Briones and Ostman play a big part in Central Michigan's 30-27 upset win over #22 ranked Oklahoma State. Read it was CMU' s first win against a ranked opponent since 1991 when they defeated Michigan State.

Edit: Alex Briones #30 is in the video clip. Appears the final play should have never had happened.

In fairness, Oklahoma City's last TD should have been called back for blatent holding that the refs initially called then chickened out of. You give up a hail mary and lose you have nothing to cry about.
