The next play the Saints tackler gets his arm in on the tackle causing a fumble- recovered by the Saints as they take over on their own 8 yd line. The rain appears to have stopped.

Ishpeming eventually punts. The Saints don't get much going then punt- but big special teams play as Ishpeming blocks the punt and takes over on the St. Ignac 12 yd line.

A couple plays later after a play Ishpeming' s QB struggled to walk and is down on the field. He's up and walking thank goodness.

St. Ignac pushes Ishpeming back to the 20. Facing 3rd down.

St Ignac fans yelling - unhappy with play calling as Hemitites defense tightens up. Can hear them in the background.

St Ignac goes for it on 4th down inside midfield. Ball is fumbled on a pass attempt. Ishpeming announcers believe it should have been a fumble but refs rule it incomplete.

Ishpeming QB back in. Ishpeming player breaks 2 tackles runs down sidelines for TD.

2 pt run no good.

That was a 56 yd drive in 4 plays.

Ishpeming holds on 4th and 10. What hurt was they got a play in late- was 4th and 5. QB fired a bullet but receiver couldn't bring it in.

Ishpeming takes over on downs.

Just under 2 minutes remaining.

St Ignac just got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Saints fans pretty angry and vocal. Saints coach told to get off the field.

Sounds like one of the Ishpeming announcers had a son who was a good Running Back at Marquette back some years.

They were talking about next week's game. It is on Thursday home against Gwinn.

They were saying it was a tradition for Gwinn/Ishpeming and Negaunee/Westwood to play Thursday in the Dome. However the Dome got too expensive and the schools didn't want to give up the Concessions revenue.

Interesting- never knew that.

Good game Saints and Hemitites. Enjoyed listening to Bob and Mike.

Coach Olson talking about their mistakes. Talked of fumbles. Players lining up wrong when they scored- things they don't do in practice. But talking about the effort and positives.

Ishpeming missing 7 starters- 13 positions total. Spoke of Gwinn' s line being physical and one of the best in the conference. How both Ishpeming and Gwinn have lost players.

Won't post any stats. Thanks.
